A Harsh Reality To Deal With

Tiktok user Alexis, 19, created quite a buzz on social media. She revealed how she had a baby without knowing she was even pregnant. Dressed in a private school uniform, she screamed to her mom for help one morning. She couldn’t figure out why she had an unusual urge to push.

It wasn’t until “after school” that she ended up giving birth on the living room floor. Did she resign herself to a day of school? Many are suspicious.

It was a harsh reality to face at 15 years old. But today, she doesn’t mind musing over the situation. She said her father rushed out of the house in a panic to buy pregnancy tests. One Tiktok commenter responded, “I think it’s a little late for a pregnancy test.”

Officially, it’s called a cryptic pregnancy. Incredible? Half way through, one out of 475 women don’t realize they’re pregnant. Only 1 out of 2,500 don’t realize they’re pregnant until they go into labor.

What about baby kicks? Alexis says the anterior placement of her placenta hid them. Missing period? Nope. She just had back pains the night before. Her parents thought that she was just trying to get out of going to school.
